Hi all ! I'm going to submit my app to Apple. In my app i have severals plist and i am wondering if it is possible to update frequently my app by editing or replace one or more of these plist, then the user using iTunes will know that there is an update.
Because i have no idea if it is possible, i do not know how the update process work, so if someone could give me info about that. Thanks a lot ! |

The update will physically delete the old app and install the version of your app. The only things that are preserved are temp, Library and Documents folders. These only get deleted if you delete the app.
Also, Library and Documents are backed up by iTunes (part of the iPhone backup process). Once your update is approved, the user will be informed that there is an update. |
