Newbie alert!
I may be biting off more than I can chew here. I'm a raw newbie. I'm after advice. I want a view controller, similar to a UINavigationController that implements a circular list of views. Instead of a back button, I want left and right buttons to move along the list. I've read a little and am thinking of using a UINavigationBar where the left and right buttons just manipulate the items in the view. Does that sound reasonable? Are there standard images for left and right buttons? Cheers, Imo. |

When you say circular list of views, do you mean:
View A -> View B -> View C -> View A -> ? Playing around with Views isn't too dificult, I'm exploring it at the moment. However, it might be best to start off with a simpler view app? Such as have 2 views and a button on each, with each button acting as the trigger to switch views? Apologies if I am patronising you, it is not my intention to do so in any way. The book I am working from, Beginning iPhone Development, from Apress, is a bloody good book, and chapter 7ish of that explores the handling of views, including NavigationBars. Not sure if your looking to invest in any reference material, but that one in my opinion is a very good starting point. Hope that some of that is helpful. In answer to your other question, I believe, from memory (at work atm, working hard as you can see!), there are. The ipod app utilises these, so I am pretty sure the arrows are standard. Hope that helps. Dan Dan |
