Hi
I am a bigginer in iphone development and new user of Apple MAC. I would like to know which Mac version is needed for iphone development? My mac version is 10.4.9. If I want to get MAC OS X 10.6 which one should I buy Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or Mac Box Set ? I have found this link for Mac OS X 10.6 Apple Software - Apple Store (Australia) Could you please help me? |

Of course, you need an Intel based Mac.
You definitely need Snow Leopard in order to run the latest version of Xcode and continue to stay current. If you have the money, just get the Box Set and be done with it, especially if you expect to be using your Mac as your main computer as well. I've always had PCs, but once I started using Macs I moved away from PCs completely and use my Mac for everything. If that happens to you, you'll definitely want to get the Box set and save yourself some money in the long run. Mark |
