Default Books for learning Objective-c

Hi

I have good knowledge in C.
I would like to know which books are good for learning Objective-C?

Thanks.

The answer as to which book is best for you is something only you will be able to answer depending on what your level of knowledge currently is. Some books are tutorials and some books are references of the language.

Go on Amazon and and search on Objective-C and read the reviews.

If you can go into a bookstore or library and flip through some of them that helps as well.

Learning Objective-C is one thing. Learning about Cocoa and Cocoa Touch is something completely different, and of course, they overlap.

My recommendation is that you learn as you go. Get a book like "Beginning iPhone 3 Development" and just follow along and you will learn multiple things all at once: How Objective-C is different from C, about Cocoa Touch frameworks, about the Xcode development environment (Editing code, Interface Builder and the Debugger) and how iPhone Apps are built.

Whenever you encounter something you don't understand about the language, then you can google it or look it up in Apple's documentation that comes with Xcode. I have a few books in my library about Objective-C and I've only opened them a couple of times.
